National Marina Day at Sandusky Harbor Marina was a huge success.  We began the morning with pastries and coffee to all our members to get their day started in the right direction. All though the morning held rain, the indoor garage sale attracted over 200 people and the customers were happy with their sales and purchases. We had hotdogs and hamburgers with all the fixins for those working up an appetite with all the shopping going on. By 5:00 p.m. the rain cleared and we had the Vermilion Community Concert Band consisting of 30 members of the orchestra playing beautifully overlooking a stunning view of our marina.  Below is an email we received from the band’s treasurer.  The George she refers to is one of our own members on D Dock.  The day was filled with excitement, and true appreciation.
